Joseph F. Keefe is President & CEO of Pax World Management Corp., investment advisor to Pax World Funds, one of the nation’s leading sustainable investing mutual fund companies, headquartered in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He also serves as a director of Pax World Funds.

He also served as Senior Adviser for Strategic Social Policy at Calvert Group, a mutual fund company headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, from 2003 to 2005. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Keefe was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Citizens Advisers, investment adviser to Citizens Funds, where he oversaw all regulatory compliance for the management company, the Funds, and the Funds’ distributor (Citizens Securities), where he was also a principal. Before joining Citizens, he was in private law practice for 16 years.

From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Keefe served on the Board of Directors of the Social Investment Forum, the trade association representing socially responsible investment professionals and asset managers throughout the United States. He has spoken on the subject of socially responsible investing at seminars and conferences throughout the United States.
