PLI/Ethisphere Compliance Series: FCPA: Third Party Issues

Ethisphere, in a joint effort with the Practising Law Institute, will be hosting a 12-part Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) web series. Each session will have an issue-related focus or will be devoted to the unique challenges of FCPA compliance and enforcement in different global arenas. Ethisphere is working with PLI to secure CLE accreditation for each of these webcasts. Each webcast is available for $299 through PLI. Members of the Ethisphere Council are invited to attend the series and download an archived version of the session free of charge.
Description:
Under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, U.S. and U.S.-controlled companies are prohibited from making a payment to an intermediary—which may include joint venture partners and agents—in which all or part of the payment will go directly or indirectly to a foreign official.
Join PLI and Ethisphere for Part 7 of 12 of the PLI/Ethisphere FCPA Compliance Series, Third Party Issues, to discuss the thornier issues of engaging partners and representatives overseas.
