“Green by Design” Conference - Alexandria, VA

The Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) in partnership with GreenBiz.com and Global Executive are collaborating for the first time to produce a conference titled “Green by design” which will be held at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, June 12-13, 2008. The conference is being created to fill an unmet need in the marketplace for deep insights and best practices on building sustainability into the product development process. Attendees will include corporate directors of sustainability and environmental stewardship; directors of product development and design; executives responsible for supply chain management, business strategy and marketing as well as students and educators from prominent design schools.

“We see this conference as a great opportunity to bring leaders in innovation and product development together in a forum to address the many challenges and opportunities in the rapidly emerging sustainability movement,” said Dale McIntyre, Vice President, Conferences & Events, PDMA and Vice President of New Product Development, Behr Process Corporation.
