Tiger Woods Lands $1.6 Million Yacht Settlement for Improper Use of His Name/Image…

Tiger Woods has settled a privacy-rights lawsuit over his yacht for $1.6 million with its builder of his boat, Privacy, Vancouver, Washington-based Christensen Shipyards Ltd. Woods claimed in the lawsuit that the company had breached its contract by using his name and photos of him and the 155-foot yacht as promotional materials without authorization.

Commentary:How thick skulled was this builder? Note: the name of the boat! The builders insurer agrees with us and is refusing to pay the submitted claim.
