UK Supermarket Giants Tesco and Asda to Release Millions of Emails to Competition Commission

groceries.jpgThe Competition Commission recently demanded confidential information from supermarket chains Tesco and Asda in the form of emails delivered to their suppliers. The demand comes in conjunction with an investigation alleging the two companies exerted ‘undue pressure’ on suppliers.

Asda alone released 11 million emails to the Commission.

The Commission announced last January that there is very little evidence supporting claims of unjust business practice by the two companies to their suppliers. They also said ‘predatory pricing’ is acceptable if it ultimately benefits the consumer.

    Hallo,

    I was looking for Lipton tea in Germany, but I could not find it. Please could you help me to find Lipton green chinese gunpowder loose tea und send me a mail of the address where to find it. This sort of tea can be found at all supermarkets in Dubai but not in Europe. Please help me to find it.
