In our first session, led by Andy Rink, Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, and B. Trapper Freeman, Corporate Counsel, Labor Employment & Litigation, JELD-WEN, we will hear about JELD-WEN’s Workplace Violence Prevention Plan. JELD-WEN has been working on the development of a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan to comply with California’s recent Act (S.B. 553). Their focus has been on the development of California-specific plan inclusive of all the policies, procedures, training, and reporting methodologies identified in the legislation, but are working through what aspects of the California requirements should be implemented more broadly throughout the organization.
In our second session, Samantha Kellen, Chief Compliance Officer at Stellar Health, will lead a discussion of recent regulatory guidance and best practices to implement appropriate incentives at your company. Topics will include:
- A high level overview of what the DOJ and DHHS OIG have said about incentives
- Suggested best practices to operationalize these recommendations into your program
- A discussion of other ideas from our BELA member organizations
