Virtual Roundtable: Hotline and Reporting Data

Join us on July 25th from 2:30-4pm EDT for a virtual roundtable, co-hosted by Guardian Life Insurance and CareFirst.

In our first discussion of the day, Phil Pescatore, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer and Dianne Ramos, Head of Ethics, Complaints and Regulatory Alerts, Guardian Life will lead an interactive discussion surrounding hotline and reporting data. We will consider questions such as:

• Do you collaborate with HR on hotline reporting? How?
• What if someone makes an in-person report? What is best practice for logging that?
• When reporting to the board, how are reports “labeled”? (Does HR take some? Does Compliance take others? How?)

And more! We’re excited to explore strengths and challenges, discuss best practices, and walk away from the roundtable with a more robust understanding of our organization’s usage of hotline metrics.

In our second session of the day, led by Todd Cioni, Vice President of Regulatory Operations and Chief Privacy Officer, and Nicki Campbell, Director of Compliance, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, we will hear about CareFirst’s comprehensive annual Speak-Up Report, and CareFirst’s journey to leverage all of their reporting data. We will talk about the meaning of transparency in reporting, the history of the report, and CareFirst’s goals for future development and growth of the project.
