Roundtable: Tempe, AZ – Hosted by Align Technology
3.5 HOUR(S) | OCTOBER 16, 2024 - | 11:30 AM-3:00 PM | AZ TIMEJoin your Phoenix-area compliance peers on October 16th from 11:30am-3:00pm MST for an in-person roundtable in Tempe, hosted by Align Technology.
Hosted by Align Technology, and with presentations from both Align and Husch Blackwell, this roundtable will encompass many pressing components of AI facing organizations today. With sensitivity to budget restrictions, we would like to share that Align is located within minutes from the Phoenix airport so for those on the west coast, this could be a day trip. If you are coming from farther away, there are numerous hotels nearby as we are also minutes away from the ASU campus.
To kick us off, Thom Hutchison, Director of Data Service & Artificial Intelligence, Husch Blackwell, will lead a conversation on AI 101: an overview of AI Basics and Technology.
Next, Megan Scheiderer, Partner and Co-Chair of Artificial Intelligence, Husch Blackwell, is going to speak on Who’s In Charge?: Looking into the global regulatory landscape, as well as looking at US-centric compliance surrounding AI. We will discuss industry standards, and talk through AI Principles and Guidance.
After a short break, Gina Nese, Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Compliance and Privacy Officer, Align Technology, will discuss The Corporate Journey: AI implementation, challenges, and utilization at your organization. Participants will be led through a benchmarking exercise to gauge AI implementation, usage, and challenges. This will be an interactive exercise for participants to share, listen, and learn.
There will also be time for questions and answers, and to discuss other “hot topics” surrounding AI.
