Ethisphere and Boeing Continue Partnership to Advance Global Dialogue on Values-Based Business Performance

Ethisphere and Boeing will Host Key Compliance Leaders from across Europe to Discuss How Global Companies are Sustaining Ethical and Compliant Business Environments.

London – September 23, 2014 – Boeing and Ethisphere will further their global partnership this month by inviting ethics and compliance officers from leading multinational companies to come together and share best practices in enabling values-based business performance.

Following successful activities in Latin America earlier this year which helped connect some of the brightest in the fields of ethics and compliance from across the region, the two organizations will host a forum in London for leaders from across Europe to discuss practical strategies for driving ethical and compliant business performance. The forum provides an opportunity for these leaders to learn from one another and explore new ways to leverage workplace cultures and compliance in order to improve business performance. The leaders attending the forum are from companies that collectively represent nearly a trillion dollars in total revenue, and do business in more than 200 countries.

“We are very excited to further expand our successful partnership with Boeing, which has helped create valuable opportunities for some of the most well-respected ethics, governance and compliance leaders, representing some of the largest companies around the world, to come together to share ideas and learn from one another,” Timothy Erblich, CEO of Ethisphere, said. “Boeing’s leadership has played an important role in driving the conversation around enhancing values-driven practices globally, and we are pleased to continue our partnership with them in Europe.”

Boeing will also play a key role at the inaugural Europe Ethics Summit, a two-day event taking place in London at 8 Northumberland Avenue on September 24 and 25, in which CEOs, general counsel, compliance and ethics officers and other thought leaders from around the world will participate in a robust discussion on the business ethics environment and challenges facing Europe today. The Summit provides an opportunity for these leaders to address industry issues, learn from one another, and network alongside individuals representing best-in-class companies.

“At Boeing, we believe that strong ethics and compliance programs contribute to the long-term growth and sustainability of a company,” said Sir Roger Bone, president, Boeing UK. “We look forward to being part of this week’s dialogue, where a network of international corporations from all industries can share their own approaches to enhancing business performance through effective business integrity initiatives.”

Sir Roger will participate on day two of the Europe Ethics Summit, taking part in a keynote discussion titled Leaders on Ethics. He will share insight into Boeing’s approach for creating and sustaining a companywide global culture, as well as his thoughts on what companies doing business in the UK can expect from the region in terms of challenges and opportunities when driving an ethical and compliant business environment.
