Ethisphere and Husch Blackwell Partner to Build World-Class Ethics and Compliance Offerings

The two organizations will develop industry-focused thought leadership resources, collaborate on identifying and codifying  best practices in key focus areas, and assist companies in driving long-term business performance

Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing standards of ethical business practices, announced today a strategic partnership with the law firm Husch Blackwell, which will bring additional value and resources to Ethisphere’s community of more than 315-plus multinational corporations. With 23 offices located across the United States, Husch Blackwell assists companies nationwide by providing a unique understanding of their clients’ day-to-day operations and long-term strategies.

Through this partnership, Ethisphere and Husch Blackwell will collaborate with leaders of best-in-class global ethics and compliance programs to create a series of thought leadership resources, roadmaps, and other tools to assist companies in driving long-term business performance. The two organizations will collaborate to identify and codify best practices in key ethics and compliance focus areas, including topics such as program security and human rights.

As part of this collaboration, Ethisphere will curate and advance the work of Husch Blackwell through platforms, such as at the upcoming Global Ethics Summit, Ethisphere’s flagship event; Ethisphere Magazine; and the Business Ethics Leadership Alliance (BELA), a globally recognized organization of leading companies collaborating together to share best practices in governance, risk management, compliance, and ethics. Husch Blackwell’s industry structure will help focus the collaboration’s problem-solving across multiple legal practice areas while providing industry-specific insights on compliance.  This collaboration will also result in the development of resources including compliance-related white papers, toolkits, and webinars.

“This partnership with Husch Blackwell will enhance our ability to deliver relevant and essential programs for our growing community of leaders who are vitally engaged in the practices of ethics and compliance,” said Ethisphere Chief Executive Officer Tim Erblich. “With a heightened focus on data security due to the increased number of people working from home, and with issues like human rights always a priority, this partnership has the potential to help the business community in their mission to engage in activities that highlight the strong relationships between purpose and profits. We are very excited about this new relationship with Husch Blackwell.”

“Never have business ethics and regulatory compliance issues been more timely or more relevant. There is a very real need to demonstrate a culture of compliance across each business unit and area of operations,” said Catherine Hanaway, Chair, Husch Blackwell (pictured). “We are thrilled to partner with Ethisphere and the more than 315 members of the Business Ethics Leadership Alliance.  We are excited to leverage the firm’s unique industry focus to benefit BELA members, and to share collective lessons learned with the business community and Husch Blackwell clients.  We are also grateful for the opportunity to learn from and engage with some of the most knowledgeable business ethics leaders in the world on key issues like security and human rights.”
