Ethisphere’s Compliance Leader Verification recognizes organizations with an outstanding commitment to achieving a best-in-class ethics and compliance program

Scottsdale, AZ – March 9, 2026 – Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, announced today that FedEx has earned the coveted Compliance Leader Verification for 2025, 2026 and 2027.

FedEx is a global leader in shipping, transportation, e-commerce and digital supply chain services. FedEx consistently ranks among the world’s most admired and trusted employers, with a global workforce of more than 500,000 team members, and a focus on safety, the highest ethical and professional standards, and the needs of their customers and communities.

“FedEx has built a mature Corporate Integrity & Compliance function that continues to evolve alongside significant business transformation and an increasingly complex regulatory and business environment,” says Emily Miner, Director, Data & Services. “I was particularly impressed by the depth and authenticity of FedEx’s integrity culture—a legacy that traces back to the company’s founder. Today, leadership carries that ethos forward deliberately and visibly through their words, but more importantly their actions. The consistency through which leaders expressed and demonstrated this ethos is made all the more impressive given the company’s scale and operational breadth. I am pleased to see FedEx receive the CLV designation; it is well-earned.”

The Compliance Leader Verification process involves a rigorous review of an ethics and compliance program and corporate culture. It includes completing the Ethics Quotient® (EQ), a questionnaire covering the elements of an effective program; benchmarking program practices against the World’s Most Ethical Companies®; and extensive document review and interviews with executives and stakeholders.

FedEx was evaluated on six key areas: program resources and structure; perceptions of ethical culture; written standards; training and communication; risk assessment, monitoring and auditing; and enforcement, discipline, and incentives.

“Earning the Compliance Leader Verification reflects our commitment to conducting all corporate activities to the highest ethical and professional standards,” said Pete Blumberg, chief compliance officer of FedEx. “This recognition underscores how our world‑class compliance programs help us manage risk while empowering our colleagues to achieve strategic business objectives. It is a testament to the culture of integrity our team works hard to uphold.”
