There’s a lot of excitement — rightly! — about the power and promise of data and data science in today’s world. Yet, we’re not doing nearly as much with these resources and methods as we could. In this presentation, Andrea Jones-Rooy draws on their experience as a professor of data science and research consultant to many of the world’s most exciting companies to share how we can all rethink what data even is, reimagine how we can use data science — and, importantly, embrace why it’s so important that we all (yes, all!) get involved, regardless of our technical backgrounds.
