Join your BELA peers for a virtual roundtable on E&C and Organizational Justice. Organizational Justice is one of Ethisphere’s 8 Pillars of an Ethical Culture. This roundtable will dive deep into practical components of Organizational Justice that compliance leaders can focus on in 2026:
- Ensuring consistent application of discipline – E&C isn’t always “in the room” when disciplinary decisions are made; sometimes it’s up to HR and the business lead. Other times, discipline is determined cross-functionally, either by committee or otherwise. We will discuss whether E&C should have a seat at the table, and if so, how (formal structure, significance criteria, defined roles and escalation procedures). We will also discuss the importance of disciplinary policies/matrixes, what should be in them, and to whom they apply.
- Building trust through transparency in communicating misconduct metrics to employees – what information to share, and how, calibrated for both large and small organizations. This discussion will also cover the tension between sharing to promote trust and legal concerns around risk exposure.
